Goodmorning Sunshine

Another beautiful day in Sundsvall..! Started this one with rye-oatmeal with musk-melon, strawberries, flaxseeds and sunflower seeds. To that I made myself a juice of ginger (heaps, love ginger!) pear, apple and a few strawberries. Yum! After enjoying it all I got creative and started playing around with my favourite jewellery and some of the amazing stuff I gotten my hands on while traveling around the world. Pics to come!

So many things inspire me. This blog is made for me to get a kind of "output" to all the stuff (read: people, images, smells, sounds, flavours, experiences, stories etc) that does. And for you as an input or as a source of inspiration or just something to relax your eyes on.

Just too cute

and a little bit weird...

WednesdayShining

I've had a really awesome day today. Finley Quaye has been playing on repeat in my headphones. The sun has been shining from a azur blue sky.  I spent the day on the beach with my niece, nephew and their mum Sandra. So nice! And the water was actually warm! I even went for a swim! Which is exceptional for me since I really, really hate freezing!

Today this little ray of sunshine told me that what I do best is being her auntie!

Set design by Anna Olofsson for Kvartersteatern's Robin Hood

And there were horses on the stage too.
In the evening I went to see Robin Hood, an outdoor theatre preformed by Kvartersteatern. My friend Anna Olofsson, who is a very talented production designer had made all the set design and props. Amazing work! A few years ago, when I did one of the periods of internships for my education as a production designer, I did it as Annas assistant. She was already really talented then!

Mitt i naturen. Nature calling.

It's been a super busy first week in my lovely motherland. Midsummer lived up to all my expectations, good friends, good food and good vibes. The next day I took the train up north to visit my grandmother.  She lives in a little paradise in the middle of nowhere. I spent most of my summers growing up in this place. It always has and always will inspire me. Both interior and exterior wise! That is actually what this blog is all about...inspiration!
I went fishing with my dad and caught a bunch of delicious fishes for dinner.

Light of the night

I arrived in Sweden from Australia two days ago. It's been so much fun seeing friends and family. Time has just been flying. I'm still very jetlaged. It's not the easiest thing in the world to get your body to adapt to a new time zone when the sun is up all night long... On friday I'm celebrating my first swedish midsummer in 9 years! Looking so much forward! In the company of good friends, with nice food and beautiful flowers everywhere I'll be enjoying to best celebration my culture has to offer.
